What better way to start a relaxing Saturday by shopping at the local Urban Harvest Farmers Market at Richmond and Eastside.
One thing I love about going to the market is that it gets me up. My day is already started rather than wasting hours in my p.jammies watching the food network. One thing I don't love about the market is that I sample a lot of cheese, sweets, and indian food all before 10 in the morning. This week I tried to control myself, but that Tiki Masala just looked so good...
Regardless, we got some really delicious, fresh produce (plus a bunch of beets *not sure where I was going with that purchase*).

beautiful greens

tomatoes and cucumbers

beets and radishes
This week we got some more homemade goat cheese flavored with basil, garlic, and green onion, farm raised eggs, some indian pumpkin paratha, and of course the beets. Next week I'm being brave and buying a bunch of different greens. Baby bok choy, here I come.
